In addition to the 23 players named in the squad, national team player Nguyen Tien Linh has been added to the list, increasing the total number of footballers to 24.

Following this evening’s clash against Thailand, Linh, head coach Park Hang-seo, and his assistants will fly to China on September 6 to link up with the rest of the U22 team.

As scheduled, the U22 squad are to depart for China on the morning of September 5. The team will undergo two days of training ahead of the friendly match, which will take place at 19:00, Vietnamese time, at the Huangshi Olympic Sports Center in Wuhan, China.
