VOV.VN - The Vietnamese national futsal team are set to face Iran in the quarter-finals of the ongoing 2022 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Futsal Asian Cup despite their loss to Japan in a group D match on October 2.

In their final group game, Vietnam lost 2-0 to Japan, subsequently finishing second in Group D and qualifying for the quarter-finals.

The Japanese side took control in the opening minutes of the game, with Kazuya Shimizu quickly opening the scoring in the sixth minute.
