Vietnam to open U18 Women’s Volleyball Championship against Chinese Taipei

VOV.VN - Vietnam U18 women’s volleyball team will compete at the AVC Girls’ U18 Volleyball Championship 2026 in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, from July 1 to 7.

The tournament hosted by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) features 16 teams divided into four groups.

Vietnam is in Group D alongside Chinese Taipei, the Republic of Korea (RoK) and India.

Group A includes host Thailand, Uzbekistan, Australia and Mongolia. Group B features defending champion China, Kazakhstan, Hong Kong (China) and Kyrgyzstan, while Group C consists of Japan, Iran, the Philippines and Indonesia.

Ahead of the tournament, Vietnam finished runner-up at the 2026 Southeast Asian U18 Women’s Volleyball Championship, also held in Nakhon Ratchasima. Vietnam will open against Chinese Taipei on July 1, before taking on the RoK on July 2 and India on July 3.
