Vietnam to face the Philippines in friendly match
VOV.VN -Vietnam’s national football team will face off against the Philippines in a friendly match, which will be held in Qatar on December 31, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has announced.

The match will be Vietnam’s final warm-up game before the upcoming Asian Cup 2019 tournament that kicks off next month in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
After the friendly match, Korean head coach Park Hang Seo will also finalize his decision on the official squad list of the 23 football players, who will compete at Asian Cup 2019.
On December 27, the Vietnamese men’s football team departed from Hanoi for Qatar to begin training and get acquainted with the blisteringly hot weather.
The chief coach said the team’s target is to at least earn a ticket into the Round of 16.
