Vietnam national team head home ahead of World Cup qualifiers

VOV.VN - The Vietnamese men's national football team are set to arrive home from Singapore on December 31 as they get preparations underway for the third round of Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.

According to the schedule, a flight carrying the national team will land at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi at 11:30 a.m. They will then stay at a hotel in line with their protective bubble to shield from COVID-19 before having 10 days off to return to their respective hometowns.

The team will then gather for training in mid-January in order to prepare for their upcoming matches against Australia in Melbourne on January 27, 2022, and China at the My Dinh National Stadium on February 1, 2022.
