Vietnam hopeful of progressing to World Cup final qualifying round

This projection was made by We Global Football after the start of fixtures on June 3 as part of the second qualifying round in Asia for the 2022 World Cup.

Moving forward, the Vietnamese team have the best chance compared to their rivals in Group G, followed by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with a 65.72% chance of entering the final qualifying round of the World Cup and a 55.96% probability of making the Asian Cup.
In contrast, there is a remote possibility of the remaining teams in Group G making it to the final qualifying round, with Thailand having a 6.40% chance and Malaysia with only a 1.36% probability.
According to We Global Football, four squads have a 100% chance of advancing to the final Asian qualifying round for the 2022 World Cup, including Japan, the Republic of Korea, Australia, and Syria, while China’s chance was at 69.75%.
