Vietnam eFootball team earns berth at FIFAe Continental Championship 2026
VOV.VN - The Vietnam national eFootball team has qualified for the FIFAe Continental Championship 2026, marking a notable milestone in its first appearance in FIFAe’s official competitions.
Vietnam secured qualification in the Console category through its campaign at the FIFAe Nations League 2026, a three-week competition that determined the teams advancing to the continental stage.
In Console Week 3, the Vietnam eFootball team delivered an impressive performance by reaching the semi-finals, earning valuable points in the process. At the end of the tournament, Vietnam ranked in the Top 3 of the East Asia Consistency Points standings and claimed one of the region’s five spots at the FIFAe Continental Championship 2026.
The result marks a major achievement for Vietnamese eFootball, with the team making an early impact in its first participation in FIFAe’s official competitions.
The FIFAe Continental Championship is a regional tournament introduced to the FIFAe competition system for the first time in 2026 and serves as an important stage on the road to the FIFAe World Cup 2026. It will also determine the region’s qualification spots for the FIFAe World Cup 2026.
FIFAe Continental Championship Asia 2026 will take place in Kuala Lumpur from August 19-22 in both eFootball Console and eFootball Mobile.
