Grandmaster Le Tuan Minh leads the strong national squad, which balances top regional youth prospects with veteran grandmasters to target key events across the U6 to U20 age categories.
The 11-day tournament features Standard, Rapid, and Blitz disciplines for both boys and girls. Standard chess will follow a nine-round Swiss system with a time control of 90 minutes plus a 30-second increment per move, while time limits are set at 25 minutes for Rapid and five minutes for Blitz.
Combining seasoned international experience with high-potential youth players, the Vietnamese team targets multiple gold medals to reinforce its leading status in regional chess.
