Vietnam's U17 national football team arrived in Germany for the start of a tour aimed at helping young local talent gain experience in Germany, with the project being established with the co-operation of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), Next Media, and the Bundesliga.
The squad had trained with and played friendly matches against four Bundesliga youth teams during their five-week trip in Germany, including Borussia Dortmund, Eintracht Frankfurt, 1. FC Köln, and Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Following the conclusion of the team’s trip, Bundesliga clubs selected two of the most talented players to stay in Germany for an additional week of intensive training.
The Bundesliga, which was founded back in 1963, is the premier professional association football league in Germany and consists of 18 teams that compete in a promotion and relegation system with the Bundesliga 2.
