Thai media praises Vietnamese victory over Indonesia
VOV.VN - Media outlet Siam Sport of Thailand have praised the Vietnamese team's impressive victory over Indonesia, especially noting two goals scored by the Hoang Anh Gia Lai players, Cong Phuong and Van Thanh.
In the article Siam Sport describes the nation’s comprehensive win and the way the Indonesian side’s dirty tactics didn’t bother the Vietnamese players.

Following the victory, Vietnam top Group G with 14 points, including four wins and two draws, and are now one step closer to the third qualifying round of the World Cup for the first time in their history.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) are second with 12 points thanks to a 3-1 victory over Thailand.
After an impressive victory over Indonesia, the Vietnamese national team’s next fixture will be against Malaysia on June 11, before facing the UAE for the top spot of Group G in the last match four days later.
