SEA Futsal tournament opens with Thailand inflicting heavy defeat on Cambodia
VOV.VN - The Futsal HDBank Championship Southeast Asia 2019 began at the Phu Tho Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City on October 21 with two opening matches, including Thailand taking on Cambodia, and Myanmar playing Timor-Leste.

| Thailand’s futsal team have a proud history in this competition, having won the championship title 14 times in the previous 15 versions of the tournament. The Thai team started the tournament strongly with a 12-0 win against Cambodia. The first half saw the Thai team record a two-goal lead. |

| The second half saw an avalanche of goals for the Thai team, with two more goals coming in the first three minutes of the second half, followed by an additional eight goals. At full time, the match finished with Thailand recording a thumping 12-0 victory over their Cambodian opponents. |
