Quang Hai nominated for Best Footballer in Asia Award
VOV.VN -Nguyen Quang Hai, Vietnam’s midfielder maestro, has been nominated for the Best Footballer in Asia Award, held by Titan Sports and Fox Sports Asia.

First launched in 2013, the award is one of the most important events of the year for Asian footballers.
This year, 42 leading journalists from across the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) national associations will vote for the candidates.
Every person is to put 5 names on their ballot, from their 1st choice to their 5th choice. The 5 selected players are awarded 6, 4, 3, 2 and 1 points respectively.
Journalist Truong Anh Ngoc is the only Vietnamese representative who has been invited by the organizing board to take part in the vote.
Ngoc revealed that he will vote for Vietnamese midfielder Quang Hai thanks to his outstanding performances in ASIAD 2018 and his fantastic contribution at the ongoing AFF Cup 2018.
He expressed his confidence that Hai will get lots of points and definitely be listed among the top 5.
