National team holds training session ahead of crunch tie against Iran

VOV.VN - The Vietnamese men’s football team took part in a training session in the UAE on January 9 in preparation for their second match of the tournament against Iran.

Vietnam came away empty handed after a 3-2 defeat to Iraq in the first match. The national team are targeting a draw against the Iranians.
Those who played in the match against Iraq remained in the hotel and did gym work, aiming to recover some fitness.
Meanwhile, the other players took to the training ground under the close supervision of head coach Park Hang Seo.
The Vietnamese footballers warmed-up with some passing drills.
The squad was then divided into two groups for intensive training.
The training took place at full pace and required the players to be sharp and on top of their game.

Fortunately there are currently no injuries among the Vietnamese team.
Goalkeepers Tuan Manh and Tien Dung practice hard, patiently waiting for the opportunity to play in the next match.
