National team holds training session ahead of crunch tie against Iran

VOV.VN - The Vietnamese men’s football team took part in a training session in the UAE on January 9 in preparation for their second match of the tournament against Iran.
Vietnam came away empty handed after a 3-2 defeat to Iraq in the first match. The national team are targeting a draw against the Iranians. |
Those who played in the match against Iraq remained in the hotel and did gym work, aiming to recover some fitness. |
Meanwhile, the other players took to the training ground under the close supervision of head coach Park Hang Seo. |
The Vietnamese footballers warmed-up with some passing drills. |
The squad was then divided into two groups for intensive training. |
The training took place at full pace and required the players to be sharp and on top of their game. |
