National team footballers practice UK football drills

VOV.VN - The Vietnamese men’s national football team held a special training session in Hanoi on October 1 in which the squad practiced traditional training drills from the UK known as “Kick and Rush”.

The players endured a challenging session on October 1.
Fitness coach Park Sung-gyun began the training session by guiding the footballers through the first exercise. The players had to sprint between cones for a short distance at a high intensity.
The warm-up exercise tired HAGL midfielder Tuan Anh.
Xuan Manh also appeared to be breathing heavily after the sprinting drills.
The squad’s oldest member is striker Anh Duc (R) who looked weary at the start of session.
The national team footballers then took part in practices taken from the UK known as “Kick and Rush”.
The players pass the ball before running onto the ball.
The ball is then set up for them to shoot at goal.
Fitness coach Park Sung-gyun kept a close eye on the Vietnamese footballers.
The training session was largely held in secret with reporters only allowed to observe the first 20 minutes.
