National squad receive large bonus following victory over Malaysia
VOV.VN -Vietnam’s national football team have been given a bonus of over VND4 billion from the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and their associates after securing a 1-0 win over Malaysia in Group G of the Asian zone’s second qualifying round for the World Cup 2022 on October 10.

Having secured the win with an eye-catching volley, Hanoi FC midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai received an additional VND300 million bonus from two private firms.
Following the hard-fought victory, VFF Chairman Le Khanh Hai congratulated the team on their success and called on the squad to focus on getting a positive result in their next fixture, an away tie against Indonesia on October 15.
Immediately after their win the national squad headed to Noi Bai International Airport where the squad flew to Ho Chi Minh City in the early hours of the morning, before getting a connecting flight to Bali. In preparation for the match, the players will take part in a training camp on October 12.
