Ly Hoang Nam reaches three finals at 2026 Pickleball World Cup
VOV.VN - Top Vietnamese pickleball player Ly Hoang Nam has qualified for three finals in the Pro division at the 2026 Pickleball World Cup, competing in the men's singles, men's doubles, and mixed doubles events.
In the men's singles final, Nam will face Phuc Huynh. In the men's doubles, he will partner with Robert Huy to take on the duo of Richard Livornese Jr and Jack Munro. In the mixed doubles final, Nam and his partner Roos Van Reek will play against Jack Munro and Nicola Schoeman.
This marks the third time in 2026 that Nam stands on the verge of a triple crown at a pickleball tournament. In his previous two attempts, he fell short of sweeping all three titles. At the 2026 Asia Open Pickleball Championship, he won only the mixed doubles title, while at AOPC 2026, he secured a double victory in men's singles and mixed doubles.
The Pro division finals at the 2026 Pickleball World Cup are scheduled for September 6. In addition to the professional category, Nam is also representing the Vietnam national pickleball team in the National category.
