K+ acquires Premier League broadcast rights till 2025
VOV.VN - Vietnamese digital satellite television K+ announced on March 2 that it has reached an agreement for the exclusive broadcast of the English Premier League (EPL) in Vietnam for the next three seasons till 2025.
The move officially marks the 15th consecutive year that Vietnamese football fans have been able to watch the world's most popular football tournament.
The EPL organisers have given K+ television the exclusive rights to broadcast the entire tournament, with all 980 matches to be aired exclusively on K+ channels over the next three seasons
K+ will also broadcast the football league across the country via its channels available, including its satellite television K+ Premium, ITTV, streaming via over-the-top (OTT), cable television, mobile apps, tablets, and computers and even Smart TV.
Highlights of EPL matches will also be updated continuously on the Kplus Sports YouTube and Facebook channels.
In addition to securing the rights to broadcast the entire EPL K+ also provides football fans with a range of interactive programmes such as "My Favorite Team" , “EPL Magazine - My Club”, and “Saturday Premier League, Super Sunday”.
