VOV.VN - The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) announced five nominations on June 30 for the Best Goals of Matchday Two in the Eastern Zone of the 2021 AFC Champions League.

Most notably, a goal scored by Vietnamese player Hoang Duc of Viettel FC in their recent match against Kaya FC was named among the list.
The AFC state that Viettel FC recorded a historic win in the competition, marking their first ever victory in the continental tournament, with Nguyen Hoang Duc opening the scoring.
“Not even two minutes had past when the forward opened his – and his side's – account, coolly side-footing into the bottom right corner from just inside the area for the first in a 5-0 win over Kaya FC,” the AFC noted on its website.
Completing the list of efforts nominated for the competition’s best goal includes Yoichiro Kakitani of Nagoya Grampus FC, Leandro Velazquez of Johor Darul Ta'zim, Leandro Velazquez of Johor Darul Ta'zim FC, Philip Roller of Port FC, and An Yong-woo of Daegu FC.
