VOV.VN - Coach Park Hang-seo of the Vietnam national football team has tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus after watching the V.League 2022 opening game recently.
A RT-PCR test on March 3 showed the Korean manager had contracted the virus upon returning from the Binh Dinh FC vs Viettel FC match, local media outlets reported.
Park who has received three doses of vaccines is now placed in quarantine and he is in stable health condition, said sources.
Park, his assistants and officials of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) have already completed coming training plans for the national team and U23 team.
