A training day of Olympic swimmer Anh Vien
VOV.VN -For swimmer Nguyen Thi Anh Vien, the upcoming Rio Olympic Games 2016 will be the pinnacle of her sporting career.
Years of dedication and devotion to her sport will reach a peak at the games where she will swim in four events and hopefully end with a place on the podium and medals around her neck. |
On an average training day for the Olympic hopeful she and Coach Dang Anh Tuan wake up early and begin a hard training day. |
All of the training takes place under tight security at the Olympic Village. |
She chats with other athletes while waiting to catch a bus to the cafeteria. |
The first order of the day is to refuel and get some breakfast, she usually starts with eggs, cereal and juice. |
There are plenty of choices, so it’s sometimes difficult to decide. |
Vienna cakes is a favourite of hers, that she eats at almost every meal. The food in the cafeteria is guaranteed Olympic food safety without any banned substances. |
Vien chooses to eat healthy – juice, two hard-boiled eggs, Vienna cakes, cereal, a banana and watermelon wedges. |
She meets with Coach to talk about tactics, using video analysis to study her performances and get other feedback.
