120 golfers to compete at Vietnam–China Business Friendship Golf Tourney
VOV.VN - The 2025 Vietnam–China Business Friendship Golf Tournament is scheduled to take place in Phu Tho province on December 21 with the participation of 120 golfers, announced the Vietnam Olympic Committee and the Vietnam–China Business Council (VCBC) on December 1.
he tournament will bring together entrepreneurs and skilled golfers, who will compete in a shotgun format at Heron Lake Golf & Resort in Dam Vac, Phu Tho.
The competition will be divided into four divisions, with Group A for handicap 0–15, Group B for handicap 15–24, Group C for handicap 24–36, and a separate division for women.
Depending on the number of female golfers registered, organizers may further group competitors in accordance with official regulations. Those without an official handicap or using a tournament-day handicap will be placed into appropriate divisions.
The tournament aims to expand opportunities for trade and investment cooperation, promote sustainable economic relations, and provide an effective networking platform for the Vietnamese and Chinese business communities.
The year 2025 marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, making this tournament a symbolic event that reinforces friendship, partnership, and the commitment to building a long-term cooperative future, said arepresentative of the Vietnam Olympic Committee.
Alongside the sporting event, the organisers will allocate VND100 million for charitable activities. An estimated 60–70 business executives are expected to register for competition this year.
