Vietnamese students win medals at Int’l Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics

All five Vietnamese students participating in the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA) 2021 won medals. ​

The Vietnamese team comprised five 12th graders from Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted.

Tran Dinh Dung pocketed a gold medal. Meanwhile Nguyen Manh Duc and Nguyen Khanh Tam won silver medals, and Le Duc An and Dinh Tran Hai Chien were bronze medallists.

IOAA 2021 was held online, attracting students aged under 19 from over 60 countries around the world.
