Vietnam wins gold at int’l Army Games
VOV.VN - Vietnam on September 4 overwhelmed Laos, Myanmar and Tajikistan in the Tank Biathlon finals of Group 2, clinching a gold medal at the ongoing International Army Games taking place in Russia.
Vietnam shot at 13 out of 24 targets and finished the competition in 2hrs 12m 47s, bagging the gold medal for the first time since it participated in the event three years ago.
Laos amazed other competitors when it came in second, shooting at 11 out of 24 targets and finished the competition in 2hrs 22m 37s.
Myanmar and Tajikistan finished third and fourth clocking a time of more than 2hrs 30 minutes each.
Group 1 finals will see hosts Russia compete with China, Belarus and Azerbaijan on September 5.
