Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Contest Awards Ceremony
(VOV) - The awards ceremony for a quiz competition challenging contestants’ knowledge of Vietnam-Cuba diplomatic ties (December 2, 1960 - 2015) was held on December 26 in Hanoi.
The competition, organized by the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association in collaboration with Radio the Voice of Vietnam, was open to all Vietnamese citizens.

One first prize of US$1,300 was presented to the Sao Vang Group team while two second prizes of US$650 each went to the team from the Nhiet Huyet Group and Hoang Thi Thu Trang from Ho Chi Minh City.
The event was attended by National Assembly Vice Chairwoman and President of the Vietnam- Cuba Friendship Association Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.
Other prominent dignitaries included President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) Vu Xuan Hong, VOV Director General Nguyen Dang Tien and Cuban Ambassador to Vietnam Herminio Lopez Diaz.
