Vietnam attends international charity bazaar in Ukraine

Vietnam’s traditional farm produce, pharmaceutical products, souvenirs and culinary art impressed foreign visitors at the 25th International Charity Bazaar recently held in Kiev, Ukraine.

The event, held annually by the International Women’s Club of Kiev to raise funds for disadvantaged elderly, women and children in the host nation, drew the participation of 42 foreign diplomatic offices and international organisations based in Ukraine.

Money raised through the event will be used for charity. It also offered opportunities for diplomatic delegations in Kiev to promote cultural exchanges and tighten relations with the host country.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Ukraine has participated in the event for years to support the needy in Ukraine.

The charity fair is also a great occasion for the embassy to introduce Vietnamese people and culture to international friends, expanding exchanges and developing economic-trade and tourism relations with other countries.
