VOV.VN - As of September 14, Vietnam has surpassed a total of 30 million shots of COVID-19 vaccines, according to figures given by the National Vaccine Registration Portal.

In total, the country has provided 30.4 million COVID-19 shots for local people, with more than one million shots being administered per day from September 9 to September 13.
The 10 localities that have recorded the highest vaccination rates Quang Ninh, Dong Thap, Binh Phuoc, Vinh Long, Ca Mau, Kon Tum, Ben Tre, Bac Lieu, Soc Trang, and Lam Dong.
Not included in the shortlist, the Hanoi capital has over the past few days stepped up its vaccination campaign, with more than 4.78 million doses administered.
Of the figure, over 4.38 million people received their first shot, while more than 404,000 people were given their second inoculation.
So far, 99.44% of people aged above 18 in Hanoi have now received their first COVID-19 injection. After being given 5.3 million doses the capital has now used 80.6% of its allocated vaccines.
Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City, the country's current largest COVID-19 hotspot, has administered over 8.1 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines, with close to 1.54 million people given two full shots.
In Binh Duong province, a gateway to HCM City and the second largest coronavirus hotspot at present, a total of 1.65 million people have now received their first shot, with more than 53,000 people injected with their second shot.
The portal indicates that 1.65 million people in Long An province and more than 1.53 million people in Dong Nai province have also been given a COVID-19 vaccines.
So far, the country has received more than 35 million of COVID-19 vaccine doses of various kinds, with the majority being AstraZeneca.
