Two killed after car plunges off bridge in Lam Dong
VOV.VN - Two people were killed on March 23 after their car fell into a 70-metre abyss in Loc Nga commune of Bao Loc city in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong.
According to the initial information from the scene, the accident happened at a bypass of National Highway 20 at around 11:00 a.m.
The Ford Everest car with the plate number 49A-063.64 was being driven by Duong Tan Vinh, 54, and was carrying his four-year-old daughter. The pair were heading from Da Lat to Bao Loc city.
Whilst travelling across Nau Sri bridge the driver lost control of the vehicle, resulting in the car falling into the abyss below.
The car driver died at the scene, while his daughter later passed away on the way to hospital. Investigations into the cause of the accident are now underway.
