Three local universities make annual Times Higher Education list
VOV.VN - Three Vietnamese universities have been honoured in the Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings this year.
Leading the way is Vietnam National University in Hanoi which makes the 251 to 300 group in the annual ranking compiled by the Times Higher Education (THE) and released on June 2.
It was followed by Hanoi University of Science and Technology in the 351 to 400 group, and Vietnam National University in Ho Chi Minh City in the 401+ group.
Among the three Vietnamese universities, Vietnam National University in Hanoi gained the highest number of points in terms of teaching, research, citations, and international outlook.
This year the list of higher education establishments ranked 551 universities from 30 countries and territories worldwide based on 13 criteria spanning from an institution's performance across teaching, research, citations to its knowledge transfer and international outlook.
The top five universities in the rankings include Tsinghua University of China, Peking University of China, National University of Singapore, University of Hong Kong, and Nanyang Technological University of Singapore.
