Three dead and over a dozen injured in Quang Nam van crash
VOV.VN - Three people have died and 13 people have been in injured in an incident involving a passenger bus colliding with a van on the early morning of February 21 in the central province of Quang Nam.
According to initial reports, the accident occurred at 1:35 a.m. on the section of National Highway 1 that runs through Tien Xuan 1 of Tam Anh Nam commune in Nui Thanh district.
The passenger bus was heading to the north-south route at the time of the incident and rammed into the van which was parked close to the right edge of the road in the same direction.
Two people died at the scene of the crash, whilst one passed away after being transferred to hospital. In addition, 13 others who were injured in the incident were hospitalised. The two coaches were both badly damaged after the accident.
The cause of the accident is currently under further investigation.
