Thousands of pilgrims attend Buddha bathing ritual

VOV.VN - Large numbers of worshippers took part in the Buddha bathing ritual to pray for global peace at the UN Day of Vesak 2019 celebrations which transpired in northern Ha Nam province on May 12.

The Buddha bathing ritual is an annual ceremony that takes place at Tam Chuc pagoda in the northern province of Ha Nam.
 
 
The Buddha bathing ceremony is held each year on the eighth day of the fourth lunar month.
