Tet gifts delivered to soldiers at DK1 Platform
VOV.VN - Naval Region 2 Command on January 19 visited and presented gifts to officers and soldiers stationed at DK1 Platform ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday (Tet).
Colonel Dinh Van Thang, deputy head of Naval Region 2 Command, sent best Tet wishes and offered festive gifts to troops tasked with protecting the country’s sovereignty at sea on the occasion of the 2022 Year of the Tiger.
Thang was informed that over the years officers and soldiers at DK1 Platform have overcome various difficulties to fulfill the task of protecting Vietnamese sovereignty at sea.
Most notably, last year saw soldiers give first aid to and rescue fishermen in distress at sea, helping build up their trust in the Vietnam People's Navy.
