RoK naval training ship visits Da Nang for friendship exchange
VOV.VN - The Republic of Korea (RoK) Navy training ship ROKS Hansando, carrying 375 officers and sailors and led by Rear Admiral Hong Sang Yong, docked at Tien Sa Port to begin a friendship visit to Da Nang from 2 to 5 December.
The welcoming ceremony was attended by representatives from the Da Nang Department of Foreign Affairs, the 3rd Naval Region Command, the 2nd Coast Guard Region Command, the Da Nang Military Command, the City Border Guard Command, the Da Nang Port Border Guard Command, the Foreign Relations Department of Military Region 5, the Ministry of National Defence’s Foreign Affairs Department, and the Vietnam Navy.
The visit aims to strengthen mutual friendship and trust, in line with the policy of promoting the upgraded Vietnam–RoK comprehensive strategic partnership since December 2022.
During the visit, the ship’s officers and commanders paid courtesy calls to leaders of the Da Nang People’s Committee, Military Region 5, and the 3rd Naval Region, held professional exchanges, participated in sports activities with Vietnamese naval personnel, and visited local cultural and tourist attractions.
RoK naval ships visit Danang city
VOV.VN - Destroyer Moon Mu The Great and fast combat support ship ROKS Hwacheon of the Republic of Korea (RoK) Navy docked at Tien Sa port on September 7, starting their three-day visit to the central city of Danang.
