Reburial service held for remains of fallen soldiers in Quang Tri

VOV.VN - A memorial and reburial ceremony took place on June 11 in the central province of Quang Tri for 40 sets of remains of fallen Vietnamese soldiers.

The remains had been excavated and collected at a garden of a local resident in Dakrong district by a team of Division 968 (Military Zone 4) in charge of searching and gathering the remains of martyrs.

During the interment ceremony, Hoang Nam, deputy chairman of the Quang Tri provincial People’s Committee, offered incense in tribute to the fallen soldiers who made significant contributions to the national revolutionary cause and the country’s ultimate liberation.

Following the event, 40 sets of remains of Vietnamese soldiers were then reburied at the Road 9 National War Martyrs’ Cemetery.
