PM Phuc leads tributes to Hung Kings

VOV.VN - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc led a delegation in offering incense to pay tribute to the Hung Kings, the founders of the nation, at the Hung Kings Temple relic site in northern Phu Tho Province on the morning of April 25 (the tenth day of the third lunar month).

The Government leader is accompanied by Nguyen Van Binh, Secretary of the CPV Central Committee and Head of the CPV Central Committee’s Commission for Economic Affairs, Senior Lieutenant General Luong Cuong, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, and the leaders of ministries, departments, and localities across the country.

100 youths carry national flags and festival flags to symbolize the 100 children of Lac Long Quan, the son of Kinh Duong Vuong and Au Co.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc leads the delegation in paying tribute to the Hung Kings.

 

PM Phuc and other delegates offer incense at  Den Thuong (Upper Temple).

 

Bui Minh Chau, chairman of Phu Tho provincial People’s Committee, delivers a speech affirming the anniversary of the death of the Hung Kings (the tenth day of Lunar March) as a national day and extoling the great contributions of the Hung Kings to national construction and defence, while showing the deep gratitude of Vietnamese people to the Hung Kings and other ancestors who were the founders of the nation.

Despite heavy rain, thousands of people from different regions flock to the Hung Kings Temple relic site to pay tribute to the Hung Kings, the founders of the nation.
