Paris summit opens to get development experience for Vietnam
VOV.VN - A two-day summit opened in Paris on November 4 to share experience and offer opinions on Vietnam’s sustainable development in the coming years.
The One Global Vietnam Summit themed “Talent. Innovation. Sustainability" (TIS) is bringing together more than 100 experts, intellectuals and businesspeople of Vietnam and other countries.
Participants, including those from government-affiliated organizations, and non-governmental organizations, are discussing solutions to connect talents, innovative ideas and policies for Vietnam’s sustainable development in the coming decades.
The first panel discussion was held shortly after the opening ceremony and chaired by Dr. Philipp Rösler, former Vice Chancellor of Germany, Honorary Consul of Vietnam in Switzerland and CEO of Consessor AG, Switzerland.
Speakers coming from the World Bank, Aalborg University Hospital and University of Manchester examined current pressing issues such as the COVID-19 pandemic and lessons, science and policy coordination in an interdependent world, and from crisis to transformation.
In the afternoon, speakers, including the CEOs of VietJet Air and VinaCapital, exchanged views regarding sustainable development and solutions to economic recovery in the post pandemic period.
