Over 500 Vietnamese students recruited to work in Japan

VOV.VN - About 500 Vietnamese students were recruited for internship and work in Japan during a recent jobs fair jointly held on March 9 by the Da Nang-based Dong A University and Japanese businesses.

Ten Japanese businesses recruited job vacancies in nursing, tourism, business administration, construction, electronics, information technology, automotive technology, nutrition, food technology, and Japanese language.

The event saw a large number of students participating in recruitment interviews with more than 700 face-to-face and online interviews held to gain official internships and receive job offers from Japanese partners.

At the jobs fair held in Da Nang, Deputy Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Ba Hoan praised Dong A University for its dynamic integration and strong international cooperation helping its students acquire sharper skills and experience in the international environment.

The same day, a Vietnam-Japan culture exchange was held at Dong A University to mark 50 years of the Vietnam – Japan diplomacy this year.

The festival featured Japanese tea, Origami (Japanese paper folding craft), Vietnamese calligraphy, Japanese comics, and a photo exhibition showcasing Dong A University’s ties with Japan.
