No Vietnamese victim found in Russia’s shopping mall fire

There has been not any information about Vietnamese victims in a fire ravaging a shopping mall in the Russian city of Kemerovo on March 25, said the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia. 

As directed by the Foreign Ministry, Vietnam’s representative agencies in Russia contacted the host authorities to seek information. 

As of March 26 evening, nearly 64 people were confirmed dead, 15 of them have been identified. 

Russian agencies are checking identities of the dead, according to the embassy. 

The Foreign Ministry asked Vietnam’s representative agencies to keep close track of the situation, connect with agencies concerned to update information and provide protection measures if any Vietnamese is affected.
