National ‘111’ child protection hotline launched

VOV.VN - The 111 national hotline, a free service for child protection, was launched in Hanoi on December 6 by the Ministry of Labour, Invalids, and Social Affairs.

The role of the hotline is to receive information and allegations from organizations, education units, families, individuals, and children themselves about child abuse or children at risk of violence, exploitation and neglect.

It also offers a round-the-clock telephone consultancy about laws, polices, knowledge, and skills regarding the implementation of the rights of the child and child protection. There is no charge for using the service.

The launch of the hotline will enable relevant agencies and individuals to verify information and provide timely child protection support services.
