Locally-developed online meeting platform launched
VOV.VN - The Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) has recently introduced eMeeting, an online meeting platform developed by the AIC Group and the BKAV Group, within the framework of the “Vietnam Digital Challenge” Forum.
According to Deputy Minister Nguyen Huy Dung, eMeeting represents an ambitious product which serves to take online meetings out from the shadow of platforms created by global tech powers such as Zoom and Microsoft Team.
He added that the debut of eMeeting indicates that local firms are able to tackle challenges in meeting the “Make-in-Vietnam” dream.
The guidelines of the Vietnamese digital transition this year is to actively seek and tackle problems and challenges faced by society, which is also the focus of the “Vietnam Digital Challenge” Forum, the Deputy Minister said.
Vu Ngoc Son, vice chairman of Bkav and in charge of anti-malware of BKAV Group, said eMeeting is equipped with a nine-layer security system which serves to ensure the utmost in security for users during the course of online meetings.
According to the MIC’s Information Centre, moving forward the platform will be used for its own online meetings.
