Lam Dong to showcase ASEAN-themed photos and documentaries

VOV.VN - An exhibition featuring photos, reports, and documentaries detailing the history of the ASEAN Community will be put on show between October 19 and October 22 in the Central Highland province of Lam Dong.

The four-day event will see 300 photos on display together, in addition to some 60 reports and documentaries that claimed prizes or entered the final rounds of photo, reporting, and documentary film festivals relating to the subject of the ASEAN Community held in the nation in recent years.

The purpose of the occasion is to depict the land and people of the ASEAN Community, in addition to showing environmental protection and climate change response efforts made by the 10 Southeast Asian nations.

Following the event, the Ministry of Information and Communications will present all the photos, reports, and documentaries to the Lam Dong provincial People’s Committee in order to continue serving the various communication campaigns of the ASEAN Community moving forward.

Originally founded in 1967, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) consists of 10 members, including Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
