This charitable activity will take place in Minh Hoa district, central Quang Binh province from May 13-18 with a total fund of approximately US$40,000.

The event, part of a major programme to mark Israel’s 59th National Day, is organized by the Israeli Embassy in Vietnam in cooperation with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and Family Clinic, an Israeli company operating in Vietnam.

Israeli Ambassador to Vietnam Effie Ben-Matityau will join an 80-member delegation led by Family Clinic’s general director Rafi Kot in handing over the gifts including trucks, medicines, rice, salt, piglets, soap, toothpaste, clothes, blankets, toys and books.

For many years, the Israeli Embassy in Vietnam has organized tours for medical delegations to provide free healthcare services and gifts for poor people in far-flung areas. These charitable activities have received strong support from many individuals and organizations inside and outside the country.
