Hanoi residents ignore COVID-19 warnings on public transport
VOV.VN - Numerous local people can be seen not wearing face masks in public areas, including transport hubs such as bus and railway stations, around Hanoi despite the recent novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in the centre of the country.

The Ministry of Transport recommends all people tighten preventive measures against COVID-19 on public transport.
Both drivers and passengers at bus stations throughout the capital have been advised to don face masks and limit contact in an effort to curb the spread of the virus.
Despite warnings, many people still choose not to closely follow regulations. Indeed, some drivers at Giap Bat bus station don’t wear face masks at work.

A driver on the Giap Bat-Cau Gie bus route says he often reminds passengers of the necessity of wearing face masks and following the government’s regulations on COVID-19 prevention and control.
Many people can still be seen not wearing face masks while boarding the bus.
Some drivers believe that the hot weather makes people feel uncomfortable while wearing face masks, leading many to not bother putting them on.
Some share that they find it challenging to breath properly amid the hot weather.
Even a taxi driver doesn’t don a face mask while waiting for passengers.
