VOV.VN - On March 30, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Nguyen Thien Nhan co-chaired a conference reviewing the government and the front's combined efforts last year and outline directions for next year.
In his address, PM Dung said strengthened bilateral cooperation would help them better fulfill their tasks and contribute to national development.
“The Fatherland Front promotes people’s right to mastery. Through the front, the people oversee the State and the implementation of Party guidelines, State policies, and the Constitution. By collecting the people’s opinions, the government improves its policies thus creating consensus among the public. The people exercise their right to mastery through oversight activities," Dung said.
At the conference, PM Nguyen Tan Dung and VFF leader Nguyen Thien Nhan signed a joint program to encourage and supervise food safety and hygiene for the 2016-2020 period.
