The hotel will send letters to its clients and set up charity boxes to encourage hotel stayers to donate money. As part of the initiative, a percentage of the proceeds from selling food for children will be contributed to the fund.
The signing ceremony between Facing the World and Pan Pacific Hanoi Hotel was witnessed by Ambassador Pham Sanh Chau, Special Envoy of the Prime Minister of Vietnam on issues of UNESCO, UK Ambassador to Vietnam Giles Lever, and representatives of many organizations, companies and donors such as Vietnam Airlines, Hong Ngoc General Hospital, and Emerald Garment SJC.
