Drugs seized in HCM City via postal service from Germany, US
VOV.VN - The Customs Department of Ho Chi Minh City and relevant agencies have uncovered several packages containing drugs sent by international postal services from Germany and the United States.
Discovering suspicious signs, the customs officers carried out a thorough inspection of five parcels and they found approximately 5.6 kg of Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), also known as ecstasy inside two parcels from Germany.
Furthermore, 19.9 kg of methamphetamine was also discovered in two packages of coffee sent from the US through express delivery.
This is the first time that they have discovered such a huge quantity of drugs sent from the US, according to the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department.
The case is currently under further investigation.
