More than 59 million vaccine doses have now been administered nationwide.

According to Health Minister Nguyen Thanh Long, the Government and the Prime Minister have issued drastic instructions aimed at seeking additional vaccine sources.

The Ministry of Health has also worked to fast-track the inoculation process, meaning that the nation’s vaccination rate remains high compared with that of other countries worldwide, even surpassing one million doses inoculated each day.

Economic recovery and the resumption of social activities therefore depends on vaccination, with Minister Long adding that the Ministry has continuously urged localities to accelerate the inoculation process, he added.
