VOV.VN - The Ministry of Health confirmed two locally transmitted coronavirus infections and 13 imported cases on March 10 afternoon.

The two community cases were detected in Hai Duong province, the epicenter of the country’s latest coronavirus outbreak.

Also on March 12, 38 COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospital after making a full recovery from the disease.

Overall, Vietnam has confirmed more than 2,500 COVID-19 cases since the first was detected in January 2020. Of the total, as many as 2,086 patients have been discharged from hospital.

Among the active cases, 187 have tested negative for the virus at least once.
