Chinese man wanted by Interpol arrested in Vietnam
VOV.VN - A Chinese suspect wanted by Interpol for gambling and organising gambling activities has been recently captured by Vietnamese police in the northern city of Hai Phong.
This comes after the Hai Phong Immigration Office discovered a Chinese citizen through their management of foreign national’s residence after he arrived in the city on August 5 in suspicious circumstances.
The suspect was identified as Sun Lei, who has had an international arrest warrant issued by Interpol, as well as a detention order issued by police of Xi'an City in China, for gambling and organising gambling activities.
Currently, police forces in Hai Phong are completing a dossier to hand over the Chinese suspect to Interpol.
