VOV.VN - The devastating impact of Storm Vamco has inflicted significant damage on Vietnam's central region, uprooting trees and damaging many properties, with all relevant forces being mobilised in an effort to help locals overcome the storm’s consequences.

As the 13th storm to hit the East Sea this year, Storm Vamco causes severe damage to the homes of residents in coastal Gio Hai commune in Gio Linh district of the central province of Quang Tri.

Storm Vamco injures a total of six people in Quang Tri province. In addition, roughly 100 houses in Hai Lang district have their roofs blown away, leading soldiers to provide assistance to residents to repair their homes.
