Bac Ninh, Bac Giang to vaccinate 240,000 workers against COVID-19

VOV.VN - The authorities of Bac Ninh and Bac Giang provinces have initiated plans to provide local workers with approximately 240,000 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine doses to curb the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus among the community.

This information was released during the launching ceremony of the COVID-19 vaccination scheme, with the event being jointly organised by the Ministry of Health and the administration of Bac Ninh province on May 27.

Immediately after the completion of the launching ceremony, a group of 100 workers of Funing Precision Component Company Limited received their COVID-19 vaccinations.

Moving forward, up to 90,000 workers in Bac Ninh province will also be inoculated with COVID-19 vaccines as swiftly as possible.

Elsewhere, the authorities of Bac Giang gave 300 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to workers of Phu Hong Company Limited on May 27.

The administration of Bac Giang province have already launched a plan to give COVID-19 inoculations to roughly 150,000 workers in the near future.
